for example, plenty of "christians" practice pre-marital sex. i don't see what the big story is about this pageant winner.

I don't know, just a hunch MMSDome.

My thought chain that brought me to that conclusion:
they must have practiced and looked up stuffs and done research beforehand, I do not think any of this pageant's participants would care if the answers are their opinions. The ulterior motive is not to live by that answers, the ulterior motive is to win that crown, earn cash, blow fake kisses cry fake tears and land a few advertisement deals and gets into movies. So no, I do not think its her "true opinion"

How did you come to the conclusion that it is her opinion? Just because she use it as an answer? How do you know someone didn't coach her beforehand?

she'll still get her book deal, talk show invitations, possibly a tv show/movie deal, etc.

there's a very long list of people who have been "hurt" by the media who still managed to do quite well for themselves.

I like her even though I disagree with her views on gay marriage. Perez Hilton, or whatever its real name is, now looks like the intolerant bigot to me; or an even great bigot than he already was.

It's ambigious whether Perez asked his question looking for a personal, subjective answer or politically and socially rational answer. What is clear is that she's not an anti-gay being who opposes the existence of homosexuality but rather her logic, unfortunately, is corrupted by her faith.

Perez blased her in his vlogs in a vulgar fashion. She retained her composure.

I remember hearing somewhere that was the same answer she gave in during the Ms CA pagent. Not saying not coached, but at least consistent.
